Livia Pure Skin Care: Benefits of Organic Skin Care

Benefits of Organic Skin Care
There has been huge progress in organic skin care treatments in recent times. Natural botanical, organic plants extracts and essential minerals promote cell regeneration and provide antioxidant support....this is organic skin care. The very first thing that comes to mind: how to make your skin healthier and younger?  Healthy skin is important for looking younger and more beautiful. Organic skin care is using natural organic skin care materials instead of using products contains chemical or harmful ingredient material.
Now you may be thinking: what are these natural organic skin care products? These organic skin care products can be easily found anytime; yes! Herbs, fruits and vegetables make the best natural organic skin care products.

It is everyone’s belief that products made by natural organic products like cucumber, apple, papaya, ginger are the best for use because they don’t carry any chemical ingredients in them. Ordinary skin care products contain chemical ingredients.  We apply those products on our skin daily, which  then kills our skin cells and gives our skin a deadly look. On the other hand, live organic skin care products are made from natural ingredients using fresh, live enzyme filled herbs, fruits and vegetables.

Benefits of Organic skin care products:

Effective, No Side effects – With the use of natural organic skin care products, they are purely natural and don’t cause any side effects on your skin.

All Natural – These organic products contain herbal, fruits and fresh vegetable ingredients. These contain no harmful or chemical ingredients and have live active properties.

Totally Environment Friendly – These natural organic skin care products work into the environment naturally, where chemicals products are unable to exist in nature’s way.

Tips for Choosing best organic skin care product:

There are many natural organic skin care products online. But it depends on you to choose the right one for your skin? I have reviewed many organic skin care products and found few of them useful and innovative. A little search over the internet or web can give you a best natural product, you are looking for. We, of course, recommend Livia Pure Skin Care. www.liviaskincare.com  Raw, Organic, Pure.

The International Spa and Esthetique Show in Toronto

Dear Organic Skin Care Fans!

As you know, I had the blessing and opportunity to attend and Teach at this International Spa Show in Beautiful Downtown Toronto, Ontario Canada.

We were there for 3 packed days.... 2 of which, the actual show itself went on. Two Show booths, tons of product and FREE Organic Skin Care Facials!

What a joy it was to meet and work with so many of our Canadian Clients in person! Many new Spas brought on our Sensual, Effective, Organic Skin Care Line! Hooray. Truly though.... the product sells itself!

The First Afternoon we arrived, I sat on the Corner park bench, on Reitman Square and listen to street musician Rihi High. He is on YOUTUBE if you are interested. He was very good! He had his 2 Littles with him that played hide and seek with everyone as he played. Such sweet little smiles!!

This Little Guy (below) had a smile that reminded me of my own Little Colin, who just turned 2!! So, so precious!

The International Toronto Film Festival was going on the same days so I was able to meet and network with many Directors and Talent from that. Fortunately (or un :) my Efforts to spread Livia Pure, Raw, Organic Skin Care to the masses, took precedence.... so I wasnt able to see any of the films.

The next 2 days were chalk full of teaching, facials and sharing our product. It was so fun and so exhausting! We had... and continue to have a wonderful response!

I LOVE ORGANIC SKIN CARE!!! Thank you to my Canadian Team! You guys are amazing!

I took off on a plane, straight from the end of the shows to get back to business and the Fam! I think it took me a week to recover but I am happy to be home and back to mixing, batching and playing! For Now, dear friends and Clients:)

Vitamin C is much touted for its ability to prevent and improve wrinkles.  Many people take Vitamin C as a supplement, but does oral Vitamin C work as well as topical Vitamin C skin care products for wrinkles?
The mechanism with which Vitamin C prevents wrinkles is due to its antioxidant properties.  Damaging free radicals are generated in the skin by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun. These free radicals cause photo-aging, ie wrinkles and sun spots. Vitamin C in the skin is thought to play a key role in neutralizing these free radicals and reducing UV skin damage.
There is an abundance of skin products on the shelf that contain vitamin C. But is it really worth the extra cost, could consuming extra Vitamin C be enough? The human body has to get vitamin C from the diet because it can't make it's own. The vitamin C available from our diet is then used by every cell in our body, including our skin. Couldn't eating lots of Vitamin C rich fruits and veggies and/or taking vitamin C orally be enough?
Well, it turns out that a very high concentration of vitamin C is required to get a therapeutically effective level of vitamin C in the skin. There are two characteristics of vitamin C that keep us from getting skin-therapeutic levels from oral supplementation. The first is that vitamin C is well absorbed orally at lower does, but absorption decreases as the dose increases. Approximately 80% of a 100 mg dose is absorbed, 63 % of a 500 mg dose is absorbed, and less than 50% of a 1250 mg dose is absorbed.
The second characteristic of Vitamin C that limits our attainable vitamin C levels in the skin, is that vitamin C is water soluble. So at high doses most of the Vitamin C that is absorbed is actually just excreted in the urine.
Topical preparations that contain vitamin C work well to increase the amount of vitamin C in our skin. Research indicates that skin creams containing 10% vitamin C might be most effective for increasing vitamin C concentrations in the skin. By using lotions or creams with vitamin C daily you can benefit from the protective antioxidant effect and the restorative collagen-boosting effect of vitamin C.

Home Remedies

Hello Friends!
I had a former student call me with the exciting news that she was Interning as an Esthetics Instructor. In the class she was preparing for, she was researching what home remedies she could teach to her students, so that they had some fun experiences in making their own product.Well yes! of course I have home remedies! That is how I started Livia Pure Skin Care before I even knew I would ever be doing what we are doing now.

As a kid, I LOVED coming up with my own remedies. Everyone called me a Hippie, which I loved and strived to fit the part:) Id use whole cloves as my eyeliner and ground up different shades of egg shells for my face powder. Bath teas and scrubs were always fun and easy.

I wanted to share with you some of my favorite and simple Home Remedies and hope that you'll chime in with yours!
  • Milk Bath: An all time favorite is simple powdered milk in your bath tub; add rose petals for a beautiful contrast -great for sunburns and sensitive skin
  • Bath Tea: combine chamomile and lavender flowers in a tea ball or in some cheesecloth
  • Body Polish/Scrub: Combine equal amounts of Olive or Vegetable Oil with Sugar or Sea Salt (careful not to use a salt scrub on freshly shaved areas!) add a couple drops of essential oil of choice or even some vanilla extract. Use circular motions to apply to clean damp skin and pay special attention to elbows and knees. Rinse.
  • Facial Masque: 1/4c plain yogurt, 1 TBSP Honey or Pure Maple Syrup, 1 TBSP mashed cucumber. Mix and apply to clean skin. Leave on for 10 minutes. Soft supple skin!

So there you go! Your Home Spa Treatments! Enjoy and please send along to friends! Til next time:)
