Hello Friends!
I had a former student call me with the exciting news that she was Interning as an Esthetics Instructor. In the class she was preparing for, she was researching what home remedies she could teach to her students, so that they had some fun experiences in making their own product.Well yes! of course I have home remedies! That is how I started Livia Pure Skin Care before I even knew I would ever be doing what we are doing now.
As a kid, I LOVED coming up with my own remedies. Everyone called me a Hippie, which I loved and strived to fit the part:) Id use whole cloves as my eyeliner and ground up different shades of egg shells for my face powder. Bath teas and scrubs were always fun and easy.
I wanted to share with you some of my favorite and simple Home Remedies and hope that you'll chime in with yours!
So there you go! Your Home Spa Treatments! Enjoy and please send along to friends! Til next time:)

- Milk Bath: An all time favorite is simple powdered milk in your bath tub; add rose petals for a beautiful contrast -great for sunburns and sensitive skin
- Bath Tea: combine chamomile and lavender flowers in a tea ball or in some cheesecloth
- Body Polish/Scrub: Combine equal amounts of Olive or Vegetable Oil with Sugar or Sea Salt (careful not to use a salt scrub on freshly shaved areas!) add a couple drops of essential oil of choice or even some vanilla extract. Use circular motions to apply to clean damp skin and pay special attention to elbows and knees. Rinse.
- Facial Masque: 1/4c plain yogurt, 1 TBSP Honey or Pure Maple Syrup, 1 TBSP mashed cucumber. Mix and apply to clean skin. Leave on for 10 minutes. Soft supple skin!
